History

Lujosa was born in 1983 when the three founders decided to join their energy and knowledge to design and produce high quality and customized upholstered furniture. They are well reputed artisans and found the company in a small factory in Picanya, a small village in the surroundings of Valencia, and very near the current production place which is a zone with a deep tradition in furniture.

The quality and service are well valued by the customers and so, the orders were quickly rising. The consequence was that the staff also was increased till reach about 30 people. All of them, artisans and professionals in upholstered furniture, joined to this engagement of this Lujosa project.

As we needed more space to develop our activity, that year we moved to the village of Alaquas, very near to the old one, to a bigger and better factory. Later on, we added the painting and foaming departments, and so, we could complete the whole line of production. Since that moment, we had the full control over all the production process.

For more than 20 years we exhibited our products in the most reputable furniture fairs, like Valencia, Madrid, Stockholm, Paris, Köln, …, and in all of them our artisan products “Made in Spain” were highly appreciated. We offer a100 % Spanish handmade product which is well considered for home furnishing as well as contract projects. We combine the best raw materials with the know-how of the artisan traditional furniture production: all the pieces are carefully handmade by Spanish profesionals.

Along these years we joined our love for the well done job, the carefully finished details and the last tendencies in the furniture market. We use to work with the best designers in furniture, and so, this fruitful collaboration reaches a line which joins the most classic tradition with the newest tendencies in furnishing.

From the beginning, an important part of our production is sold abroad, mostly to the best markets in Europe. So, we are used to offer the best level of quality, customized designs, the best materials and a perfect finishing. We feel very proud of it, and we aim to make better furniture every day.
